Korean, like Japanese, always has verb at the end of a sentence.

For a simple English sentence, you would say

Tom eats apple.
subject + verb + object

But in Korean, the word order for this sentence could be:

톰은 사과를 먹어요.
Tom eats apple.
Tom(+topic particle) apple(+object particle) eats.

You can see that Essential Concepts and Terms for Grammar Study are used to identify whether Tom or Apple is the subject of the sentence.

Because Consonant Vowel Sequences in Spoken Korean and do not require verb to be in a sentence construction, in English you would say:

Tom is busy.
subject + verb-to-be + adjective

In Korean, it is:

톰은 바빠요.
Tom is busy.
Tom(+topic particle) busy.

A complete Korean sentence may simply be a single verb. It could have different meanings under difference circumstances, as the subject is not specified.

가요.
Go.
It could mean I am going, He is going, They are going etc.
